About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC-Supervisor, and an Assistant Professor who truly enjoys being a part of people's journeys towards personal and professional growth and a more satisfying life.

In order to become an effective counselor, supervisor, and educator,

I completed two master's degrees (one in Clinical Psychology and one in Counseling), and a doctoral degree in Counselor Education.

I've been working with people from different age groups with a variety of issues since 2006. My main specialty areas are working with children (ages 3-12) and teenagers (ages 13-19) with emotional and behavioral issues and helping parents improve their parenting skills.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, Registered Play Therapist, and Certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. I am trained in EMDR and currently working towards becoming a certified EMDR therapist. I also completed Level-3 Gottman Method Couples Therapy training to better help parents and couples who struggle with relationship problems.
